Every generation brings fresh ideas, new perspectives and the determination to create positive change. When young people are supported through education, healthcare and meaningful opportunities, they are empowered to become leaders who help build stronger, healthier communities.
Observed annually on 12 August, International Youth Day celebrates the voices, achievements and potential of young people around the world. The day also encourages governments, organisations and communities to invest in youth development while addressing the challenges that can affect their health, wellbeing and future opportunities.
Young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow. They are already making a difference today. By creating environments where they feel heard, valued and supported, we help unlock their potential and contribute to a healthier, more inclusive future for everyone.
