NHI Power to Decide Doctors’ Workplaces Ruled Unconstitutional

The Constitution Court has declared as unconstitutional sections of the National Health Act that put the power to decide where health institutions and professionals can practice. Among many analysts, the court decision renders a core principle of the National Health Insurance Act unimplementable – the National Department of Health denies this is the case, however.
