Health-e.  As increasing numbers of African people embrace Western life over traditional customs, so they are exposed to a number of new chronic conditions and illnesses. So as African people make increasingly, unhealthy food choices and exercise less, so ‘diabesity’ – a term for diabetes that occurs in the context of obesity –  is on the increase.
