Biancha is Manager: Health Policy at Netcare. She holds an MBChB with distinction in her final clinical examination from the University of Cape Town. She holds a Master in Public Health (Health Economics) degree with distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand. She has multi-faceted experience in healthcare service provision, spanning working as a clinician in the public sector, overseeing clinical improvements in the private sector, and collaborating on efforts to improve access to private healthcare for uninsured populations. She is a board member of National Renal Care (NRC) on behalf of Netcare, and anchors Netcare’s investments in African health technology startups.
