The Office of Healthcare Standards Compliance has announced its new Chief Executive Officer, Dr Siphiwe Mndaweni.
She holds a BA Degree in Biology from Knox College, Illinois, USA; a Masters in Medical Science Microbiology from Medunsa; an MBCHB from Medunsa. She has completed Management Development Courses for Healthcare Professionals at both Wits Business School and Duke University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Systems Management and Executive Leadership from the University of Pretoria.
In her role, Dr Mndaweni will manage the Office charged with inspecting and certification of healthcare institutions, playing a crucial role in healthcare standard design, implementation and support, and responding to consumer healthcare complaints.
